Today, I’m going to share with you simple ideas for creating your very own irresistible Lead Magnet Offer.
A Lead Magnet is simply used as a bait to get people to subscribe to your list, allowing you contact them in future about the products and services you have. In simple words, you give your potential client your lead magnet in exchange for their contact details.
It’s very important for you to have a Lead Magnet on your website, because lots of people visiting your site may not necessarily contact you immediately or buy from you immediately. What you need is to have a way to follow them up, and the only way you can do that, is to get their information using your Lead Magnet.
Lead magnets can come in any form or format and it might be a bit of a task trying to decide what to give them that will be irresistible enough?
So, when coming up with your Lead magnet, ask yourself these questions:
- What type of information(s) is my ideal client looking for?
- What topics would be easy for me to create a Lead Magnet on?
- What will be the best way to give them the information?
Remember, the best way to find out what your ideal client wants is to ask them. You can do this by getting them to fill a survey, or you can study their behavior on the internet and social media using tools like BuzzSumo, Google Keyword Planner, Soovle, Ubersuggest.Org, Topix.Com, Quora, Google Trends, Google Webmaster Tools, Trapit, Bottlenose, etc.
Another great way to know what your clients want is to join forums that are related to your field. Check out the different questions people are asking and also topics that have a good number of comments.
Listen to what people are saying about your niche, and this will give you an idea for your Lead Magnet.
When you do the above, I’m sure you will be able to come up with different topics you can write on or share.
Once this is done, the next step is to list out all these topics and then chose one that you can use in developing your Lead Magnet.
