From my last post, I talked about creating a compelling message. Just in case you missed the last post, here’s the link.
Now we will be diving into creating an irresistible offer for the clients you have identified, which we are going to call “A Lead Magnet” for the purpose of this post.
Hold up there!
I know you might be getting confused with so much information, but the truth is, if you just take it in little by little and implement all I have said so far, you are on your way to creating a successful business for yourself.
So….. What is a Lead Magnet?
A Lead Magnet is a product, service or an experience. It is an incentive you give your potential buyers in exchange for their name, email, phone number, address or whatever info it is that you’re asking for.
So when creating a Lead Magnet. You need to have these basics things on mind and If your offer doesn’t have any one of these basics I will be talking about, chances are it’s not going to generate the results you’re after.
Attributes of a Great Offer
• Your offer must have a perceived value. An offer is valuable if it addresses the problems, needs, and interests of your target audience. Your offer must be something your client wants, not just something you think they need (or something that’s easy for you).
• Your offer should be relevant to the product or services you are providing. An offer isn’t just good for the person who will receive it; it’s good for your business. Especially in the case of lead generation, you want your offer to tie into the product you’re going to be selling. That way, it will inspire your audience to take immediate action.
• Your audience must to be able to understand, right away, why they need your offer. What they stand to gain from the benefit of your offer, should be clear to them, something that compels them to take action immediately, because if there’s no clear benefit to them, why would they bother taking the time or spending the money?
• They need a very good reason to take action now. People are super busy these days. It’s said that you have only 3 secs to capture the attention of your audience. So you have to make it such that it will make them take action immediately, because if they don’t take action right now, they’re likely to procrastinate and then forget all about your offer.
There can be more in an offer if you want to make it more elaborate, but these are the basics of what a typical offer contains.
